Guide is going to introduce to you the ITSC Training Courses Registration
System.
Please click the links on the left to view the topic(s).
1. Introduction
On the main page of the system, you can see the following screen:

2. Course Registration
2.1 Read available courses
- Choose either Courses for Staff or Courses for Students
at the top of the page.
- Choose the programme mode.
e.g. If you would like to register for Instructor-based courses,
click the circle before it.
You will see a list of training courses in the window that suits your
requirements.
- You can sort the list of training courses according
to:
- Registration Date;
- Course Code;
- Course Title;
- Course Category;
- Course Type, and
- Course Date
simply by clicking the corresponding item at the top of
the course list.
2.2 Read a course details
If you are interested in a particular course, you may click on the course
title to see more about it.

The course details will then be displayed in another window.

2.3 Register for a course
- If you would like to register for the course, simply click the "Login
and Register" button .

- another
login screen will then be displayed. Please enter your CWEM
computing id and password.

- After a successful login, you can see the list of courses that you
are eligible to register.
- On the top-left corner, you can see you name, My Profile,
and your remaining quota for course registration.
- Check the box(es)
of the course(s) that you would like to register, then click the "Register" button
.

Note for the "Register" column:
- "Info Only" means you should click on the course
title to get more information. And you will be asked to
visit another page for course registration.
- "Waiting " means the
course has been full. If you register for it, you will be on the
waiting list. And you will be invited to join the course if a seat
is available.
- After registration, you will be asked if you would like to have the
registration confirmation slip sent to your mail-box.

- If
you would like to have it sent to the suggested mail-box, click "OK".
A confirmation slip will then be displayed.

- If
you would like to have the confirmation mail sent elsewhere, click "Cancel". Then,
you should click My Profile to change your e-mail address
and you are also advised to fill in your phone number for contact. After
the change, please REGISTER for the course again.

Note:
- The change of e-mail address in My Profile will
only apply to the registration system.
It will not update your contact information in other ITSC or university
administration systems.
3. Training records
3.1 Check your training records
You can check your training record by clicking My Training Record
on the top-right corner of the page.

In this page, you can see your past training records as well as the upcoming
courses that you have registered.
For the past training records, you can also check if you was present or
absent for the courses under the Status column.
3.2 Un-register for a course
For the upcoming training courses that you have registered, you may unregister
anyone of them according to your needs.
Check the box before the course you would like to unregister, then click
the "Unregister" button .
3.3 Print a confirmation slip
If you would like to have a hard-copy of your course confirmation slip,
you can click the button under the Confirmation Slip column.
Click "File/Print" of your browser window to print.
